  • KY HELP Call Center (1-8338-KY-HELP)

    A telephone screening and referral service to connect individuals to resources and specialists. Tthe Help Center can provide personalized, compassionate assistance and resources for Kentuckians seeking help for a substance use disorder and support for families. Individuals and family members can call 1-8338-KYHELP (1-833-859-4357) staffed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (EDT) and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. (EDT)

  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)

    1-800-662-HELP (4357) or TTY: 1-800-487-4889, a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. This service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations.

  • Casey's Law

    Casey's Law provides a means of intervening with someone who is unable to recognize his or her need for treatment due to their impairment. The law allows parents, relatives, and/or friends to petition the court for treatment on behalf of the person who has a substance use disorder. Many inpatient facilities can assist the person seeking care for a loved one under Casey's law with the steps to take and what to expect.

    Financial Consideration:
    Court costs and other fees will apply. Treatment costs will be based on the facility providing treatment.
